Join us at the gallery for a night of ceremony and remembering and healing. A Night to Remember is taking place at Gallery Gachet, March 24th, 7 – 10pm, and is a one-night ritualized evening featuring “Ceremony”, a First Nation’s multimedia installation that honors all families impacted by addiction by Downtown Eastside artist, Dallas, and “Chained & Unchained”, artworks relating to trauma by Montana King. Performances by Tzo’kam drum group, Narhwal Whale Music group, poetry by Montana, and an open mic. This night promises to inspire and provoke thought around the processes of loss and renewal that we all face. Bring your friends and family to celebrate the survival of arts and culture in the face of devastating adversity and addiction.
We welcome offerings of candles or flowers as commemoration to all those lost to addiction.
Free admission.
